Here we go again. I keep harping on Dove. Sorry. I just really can’t stand their pseudo false advertising tactics.
The latest commercial shows a bunch of women adding their body cleanser to a mirror and then rinsing it off. What’s left behind is supposed to make you gag. Only the mirror lathered with Dove, of course, comes out clear. Again, a natural soap will leave behind a film, a film called glycerin. This is a humectant and a natural by-product of cold processed soap making. Glycerin is a highly prized commodity in the bodycare industry and companies pay alot to have it added to their chemically laden formulas. Natural soap makers don’t. It’s already in there.
So, I guess if you want to clean your mirror, buy Dove. If you want to clean you, buy something a little less toxic.
